New Ameritas Group Dental Products


CBIA Health Connections has 10 new Ameritas group dental plans available to all groups with two or more employees. Most plans include enhanced benefits and are available with or without orthodontic coverage. Your clients now have a choice of Ameritas group or voluntary dental benefits to best meet the needs of their employees and budget! Ameritas is known for excellent customer service. Your clients and their employees will be pleased with the personal, professional attention they receive. Remember, for existing group dental participants this change is occurring at renewal, so information on their current plans will remain available on our website. Group dental highlights

  • These plans are extremely well-priced! Check our pricing for groups with 2-50 eligible employees and 51+ eligible employees. We think you’ll like what you see!
  • Plans are simple to quote and install. Rates are valid for a full year (no quarterly changes) and have simplified rating factors.
  • A high 10% commission.
  • All plans have a large national network and include out-of-network benefits.
  • A low participation requirement of 40% means more of your clients can take advantage of this new offering!

Paid Family Medical Leave

CBIA has partnered with The Hartford to offer a private Connecticut Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) plan to CBIA members. This program is available to employers with two or more employees.

  • This private plan offers the same benefits, protections, and rights as the state plan.
  • Our private PFML plan can offer your clients significant savings when compared to the state’s plan as we’ll use the company’s demographics to determine rates.  
  • Your clients will have superior experience dealing with CBIA and our well-established service and insurance systems infrastructure. Their employees will have access to The Hartford’s customer service center and claims processing that will get them their income replacement benefits quickly and efficiently.
  • When disability benefits are through CBIA Health Connections, Clients benefit  from having their disability and paid leave benefits coordinated by one company.
  • Our private plan will pay a competitive graded 10% commission on paid premium.
  • To quote, provide a census that includes birth date, gender, salary, and work state for all employees including part-time, temporary, and seasonal workers.
